Providing information of public importance

As specified in the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance (“RS Official Gazette”, No. 120/04, 54/07, 104/09 and 36/10), information and documentation held by the Ministry of Finance which were produced in the course of or in relation to the work of the Ministry are available to all persons with a view to exercising and protecting the public interest to know and attaining a free democratic order and an open society.

The request for accessing the information can be submitted:

  • In writing to the following address: Ministry of Finance, 20 Kneza Miloša St, 11000 Belgrade
  • In person, by submitting the request to the Reception Office of the Administration for Joint Services of the Republic Bodies, Belgrade, 22-26 Nemanjina St.
  • Via email kontakt@mfin.gov.rs  

A verbal request for accessing the information is submitted to the the Registry Office of the Ministry of Finance, 20 Kneza Miloša St, room 19, and such request is entered into separate records.

All requests for accessing the information must be addressed to the authorized officer, and those requests delivered to the Registry Office of the Ministry of Finance in person or by post are transferred to the authorized officer.
